Security Tips |

You've spent a good deal of time planning
for this trip and you would like to make your vacation as enjoyable
and relaxing as possible. Here is a list of tips that will
help you make the most of your vacation.
At Home:
- Double-check the status of your flight. Be sure that the
flight is leaving at the scheduled departure time. Also
be sure to verify the gate number that the plane is departing
from (sometimes airlines switch gates at the last minute).
- Allow plenty of extra time at the airport. New security
measures have increased the amount of time it takes to get through
security checkpoints. You should arrive at the airport at
least two hours prior to departure.
- FAA regulations allow travelers one carry one item plus one
personal item such as a purse, briefcase, laptop, or small backpack.
At the Airport:
- Keep all of your bags and personal belongings within reach at
all times.
- Do not except packages from strangers at any time.
- Do not joke about have a bomb or any type of firearms.
- Do not discuss terrorism, weapons, or explosives at any time
while going through security checkpoints.
Checking in and at security checkpoint:
- Adult passengers are required to bring at least one government-issued
photo ID. If you dont have a government issued ID, bring
two forms of ID.
- Only ticketed passengers are allowed beyond the security checkpoint.
- Electronic equipment such as laptop computers and cell phones
may require additional screening.
